The Government of India seeks your input on the draft of the National Education Policy.

Send your thoughts directly to the Ministry of Human Resources and Development through the MyGov Portal, India's unique citizen engagement platform.

A draft of a 450+ page proposed National Education Policy is up for public comment. It has sections on optimal learning environments in schools and colleges, inclusion, accreditation, technology, financing, and research infrastructure.

Anurag Behar [CEO of Azim Premji Foundation, a huge proponent of public education, and one of the principal drafters of the National Education Policy] mentioned that this "policy completely redesigns the education system to increase cross-learning and reduce pressure points"; he is optimistic that education reform is a high priority for this government.

Together we can help the next generation become life-long learners and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
