A draft of a 450+ page proposed National Education Policy is up for public comment. It has sections on optimal learning environments in schools and colleges, inclusion, accreditation, technology, financing, and research infrastructure.
Anurag Behar [CEO of Azim Premji Foundation, a huge proponent of public education, and one of the principal drafters of the National Education Policy] mentioned that this "policy completely redesigns the education system to increase cross-learning and reduce pressure points"; he is optimistic that education reform is a high priority for this government.
Together we can help the next generation become life-long learners and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
