Roominations with Mountaineer Aparna Kumar

In June 2020, India Student Hub hosted a "roominations" with Mountaineer Aparna Kumar. Kumar grew up in Karnataka and was the first in her family to join the civil services. She has never seen snow prior to her mountaineering training in Mussoorie. She is the first All India Service Officer to have climbed the Seven Summits (highest peaks in the seven continents) and has been bestowed the government’s Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award 2018 by the President of India for her mountaineering achievements.
